Incorporating and infusing the tenets of character education into all facets of the curriculum and instructional day is a major emphasis at Liberty Corner School. The nurturing of children who are mindful of moral, ethical, and compassionate behaviors and attitudes has become Liberty Corner School’s mission. Engaging in numerous service-learning projects underscores their essential commitment to helping students internalize universally accepted moral values such as respect, responsibility, and trustworthiness, while reaching out to local communities. The Liberty Corner School community embraces values and morals, which are intricately woven throughout the day into discussions and reflections about exemplary character development.

“The Character Ed. program at L.C.S. has helped me learn a lot. It has helped me earn trust from my teachers, family, and friends. It also has taught me to remember that I should always be respectful, responsible, compassionate, and all of the other character [traits] that make me the best I can be. As you can see, the character program has really helped me throughout my years at Liberty Corner!” – Liberty Corner Student (Partial quote)
